Local Food Plus

Founded in 2005, Local Food Plus was a very successful non-profit organization that brought farmers and consumers together to build regional food economies. By becoming LFP certified, farmers and processors in Ontario, Atlantic Canada, British Columbia and the Prairies were eligible to partner with participating retailers and institutions to bring ethical and environmentally-sound food choices to consumers.  Local Food Plus ceased operation in 2014.

Neglia Design worked closely with LFP founders, Lori Stahlbrand and Mike Schreiner to develop an enduring and flexible brand. We also created a wide range of materials including the design and production of a 3,000 square foot “faux” farmer’s market booth at the Green Living show in Toronto.
