BRANDING
After almost 20 years with one of Canada’s largest insurers, our client, a trained mediator, lawyer, and insurance professional, launched his new mediation practice, JOB Mediations. Neglia Design was brought on board to develop the branding and online presence for the new firm.
The brief was to develop a modern brand and website. Simplicity, limited clutter, and a more minimalist approach was emphasized. The client’s preference was to aim for a clean wordmark with an emphasis on the initials “JOB”. The design tone, while professional, did not need to look like every other law firm (i.e., incorporating scales of justice, handshake pictures, etc.). The objective was to aim for something different and fresh. The black and sage colour palette was a client preference also communicated to us.
This simple yet comprehensive brief gave us a very clear direction, and we felt it was also strategically sound. This modern yet timeless approach would set the firm apart from competitors while appealing to potential clients and referrers.
The final outcome matched the client’s objectives and was very well received.
WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
At the client’s request, simplicity in navigating the website was first and foremost. In addition to intuitive navigation, a positive user experience, limited clutter, and minimalist design approach was ideal.
In addition to the content and design, a full online booking service was requested with a strong preference for completing the information online (as opposed to sending a separate email to the mediator to schedule). An online calendar view showing availability with the ability to pick a date/time, enter the required client information, and request same was the ideal scenario.
Our solution was a modern yet approachable WordPress custom website with an integrated and highly customized WP Booking Calendar.
As with all of our custom website builds, the back-end is highly intuitive for clients to use — making updating and growing their online presence straightforward.
