INHAUS LEGAL

Branding and website design and development for InHaus Legal, providing a complete in-house legal function for businesses and firms across Canada.

BRANDING

InHaus Legal provides legal services for businesses and organizations across Canada. Operating as an extension of its clients’ businesses, it provides experienced legal counsel across general counsel, legal department support and project-based services.

InHaus approached us to develop a modern brand and website that better suited their business direction and core strengths. The previous identity was traditional and generic and the website was hard to navigate. The goal was to create a clean, fresh, modern identity that felt very distinct and different from a conventional law firm.

Simplicity, limited clutter, and a lighter yet bold approach was communicated as a preference. So, we went to work to create an identity with lean lines, strong spot colours, lots of white space and an approachable feel.

Our focus was on creating a strong logo and overall visual presence yet leave room for the focus to rest on the team members when needed. As a result, we designed a brand with a limited colour palette, and a very minimal yet distinctive visual core attributes.

WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

The new website needed to be clean with limited clutter, and easy to navigate. It needed to showcase the depth and breadth of the firm’s legal talent capabilities.

We organized the website around each team member’s unique “ingredients” — a term that became shorthand for at-a-glance attributes like experience and career highlights. This became the focal point, allowing visitors to quickly understand what each team member brings to the table. Supporting service pages were also created to be scannable, yet information-rich, including additional resources like FAQ’s for further reading to support search visibility.

We also worked with the client to organize and package their content to be highly intuitive and SEO-friendly as well as discoverable via AI search. Clear navigation and calls to action completed the site for usability and conversion.
